About International Dataspace Association
The Industrial Data Space Association enables a reliable exchange of data with common rules for all companies – based on an open reference model. With the establishment of the IDSA, business and industry take an active part in designing the architecture of the Industrial Data Space. A total of 18 companies and organizations are among the founding members. The strategic initiative with respect to the IDSA aims to guarantee data sovereignty by a peer-to-peer network which provides usage control of industrial data. The association Industrial Data Space e. V. pools the requirements on IDSA, organizes the knowledge exchange between research and business and develops guidelines for the certification, standardization and utilization of the results emerging from the different IDS related research projects on European and national level.
